Call to Action - Scientology Volunteer Ministers Needed in Indonesia
Scientology Volunteer Ministers around the world are being mobilized to provide assistance to the people of Java in Indonesia after a strong earthquake struck the island today.
More than 3,000 people are reported as having died and thousands more injured, officials have said. The quake, measuring 6.2, flattened buildings in a densely-populated area south of the city of Yogyakarta, near the southern coast of Java.
The Indonesian Red Cross estimates some 200,000 people fled their homes after the quake hit early in the morning.
Volunteer Ministers are needed now to join the International Scientology Assist Team which is now heading to the disaster area. Volunteers, trained or not as Scientology Volunteer Ministers, are urgently needed to provide assistance to hundreds of thousands affected by this earthquake. General help providing supplies, food, water, medical assistance will be needed, as well as Scientology assists and Dianetics auditing - helping these people to put their lives back together.
Contact the Scientology Organization Perth, in west Australia and speak to Angela Wijayanto, Vicki-Lee Jones or James Dawes who are coordinating the activities for VMs going to the disaster area.
