Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bringing Real Independence to the People of Botswana

The African Scientology Volunteer Minister Goodwill Tour is currently in southern Botswana, where the local residents been getting training with the technology contained in the Scientology Handbook, and have set up their own local Scientology Volunteer Minister groups in Gaborone and village of Mochudi.
A Scientology Volunteer Minister who has been trained by the Goodwill Tour recently delivered two study workshops to schools in Mochudi. These workshops were very successful, with students now eager to learn things they could never grasp before. One of the teachers has now enrolled on the Study Course at the Volunteer Ministers' center.
A young woman came to the Volunteer Minister tent a few weeks ago. As an artist she had not been doing well in life but did not know why. But by taking ''The Cause of Suppression'' course, based on a chapter of the Scientology Handbook, she was able to see that some of her so-called friends were deliberately undermining her. Before the course she had not realized they did not have her best interests at heart. Knowing now who her real friends are, she is now doing much better in life.
Another woman, who wanted help to resolve a conflict she had with her mother, took ''The Cause of Suppression'' course and realized that one of her neighbors was causing this problem by undermining the relationship she had with her mother. Because of the Scientology Handbook she now knew exactly what to do to sort this out.

In his 1976 essay Religious Influence in Society, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote, "A Volunteer Minister does not shut his eyes to the pain, evil and injustice of existence. Rather, he is trained to handle these things and help others achieve relief from them and new personal strength as well."
